Another great job by taper Lou! A great intimate acoustic set with Jackie Greene, Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams (plus special guest stars).
The sound of the recording is great. Overall the set is great, minus a few rough harmonies here and there. I couldn't do better, just sayin...

Great recording of a beautiful performance. Three people on stage playing to a relatively small number of deadheads relaxing on the grass. The Dark Hollow Stage had musicians dropping in and out both days (Hot Tuna, Phil Lesh & Sons, etc.) - blink and you may have missed an amazing musical experience. This was one of them. Gorgeous three-part harmonies made my eyes well up, especially on Brokedown Palace and Drifting Too Far From the Shore. They were obviously comfortable with each other and knew each other well, but the show was not without adventure, as Jackie sometimes had to show Larry what chords he was playing during his songs (I think during Just Don't Let the Devil...).
So, go ahead and listen to this. Or better yet, just download and enjoy. Thanks Mr Taper Man and of course Jackie, Larry and Theresa.

What a sweet slice of Americana pie! Thanks for taping and posting this Lou, what a beautiful memory from a beautiful day at the Furthur Festival. Jackie shines with his pals Larry Campbell and wife Teresa Williams.
"Tell Me Mama," & "I'm Waiting for My Man" are with Mark Karan. "Gone Wanderin'" is with Larry & Teresa. "Like a Ball & Chain," is with Larry and also Jeff Chimenti. Perhaps the best line of the Festival is when Jackie says, "When I grow up, I want to be like Larry Campbell."
Great pull Lou, thanks so much. A true gem!
